How to Choose the Best Paying Adsense Keywords
Hello ladies, gentlemen & friends, welcome to our blog. And I really appreciate for your support to us, thank you. Today, I am here again with the best keywords
. This post is the second part of my previous post on Best Keywords. Since there is lots of information to share and to keep my post’s words count under control, I have break in two parts. I always believe that overload information and stuffing with too much info at one time is actually will slow down your progress. Have been said that lets move to today topic how to choose the best paying Adsense keywords.
I have seen many list of best paying Adsense keywords going around on net. But to tell you the truth, most of them are just waste of your time investment. If you’re a beginner I bet you will close your web business within months if you’re trying to make money with those keywords. Here are my reasons to tell you so:-
|
- Most of estimate CPC (Cost Per Click) rate shown are unrealistic, you will never get paid that much. Not exacts paid estimation given.
| - Highly paid keywords always come with higher competitions. Any keyword above $3 per click earning is tough to get high page rank unless you’re expert in SEO.

To Find the Best Paying Adsense Keywords
You can get more accurate CPC rate at Google Adwords account under Contextual tool. It’s completely free tool provided by Google Adwords. Below is the list of best practice to get best paying Adsense keywords.
1. Chose many keywords as you can, for beginners I suggest go for 500 monthly searches. For example, if you can optimize 10 keywords that would be targeting 5000 searches monthly. More keywords optimization will give you more chances to get clicked.
2. The best click through rate is “one word keyword” but most of the time it’s extremely competitive. So the next best option is keyword phrases. It’s called “long tail keywords”. If you have seen the video I have put in earlier post you should have known what long tail keywords is. Well, it’s simply the search term contain 3 or more words used often in searching. For example, I have optimized long tail keywords of “Best Paying Adsense Keywords” for this post.
3. After selected your best keywords at Google keyword tool and check the CPC rate at Contextual tools.
4. Google Adsense normally pays you 68 percent or more from the click’s revenue. So any keywords with CPC rate above One dollar should be fine to start with. But remember, higher the CPC rate is tougher the competition to get into top ranking on Search Engine Result Pages. You need to get at least top 3 positions to get higher possibility your link get clicked.
5. Next step is, find who your competitor is. You can Google the keywords and find the top 10 result. Since all the browsers now days has intelligent setting to get specific result according to your location or preference you may get tainted result. To avoid that you may use Google Chrome with this technique:- While pressing “control “ button and press “N” button. Small Google Chrome will pop up then you can key in the keywords. Or you can use the basic Spyfu tool which is free.
6. Install SEOQuake add on plugin on your browser and visit your competitor website. The SeoQuake will pull some statistics we needs from the site. Now you can filter high competitive keywords if your competitor is stronger. A few aspects you need to give close attention:-
I) The domain name. If the keyword is in the domain name, it’s mean they are targeting those keywords.
II) Google Page Rank. If the page rank is higher than 4 he might be tough competitor provided he have stuff the keywords in the URL. If you can click “info” at SeoQuake bar, you can check the competitor website whether they have optimized that keywords on Meta Tags.
III) The next step is to check the competitor’s backlink strengths. You can use this free tool backlink watch to check their strength. If they have huge back links that might be tougher for you to beat them. This tool could use in later stage to optimized your site’s SEO too.
These are the few important process of choosing the best paying Adsense keywords. But you can use the same method to optimize your page for any other affiliate program you prefer. Well there are many software tools out there can make your life easy but normally it’s come with heavy price too. So I have used all the free tools for this project to show you there are alternative ways to keep your budget low while learning how to make money online.
You may track the progress of your keywords on SERPs at Google Webmaster tool (free tool). Once login to your account, click “Your site on the web” and check your keyword position at “search queries” as shown at the image on the left. It’s really very useful tool to check which of your keywords listed on SERP, the page impression, how many times clicked, the clickthrough rate, average position on SERP and more.
Important point to remember: You only can earn good Adsense money if you able to get your page ranked on top 3 position in SERPs.
